Who We Are
Centennial Skating Club, established in 1976, is a non-profit U.S. Figure Skating member club that supports and promotes figure skating in all its forms. Our members include competitive and recreational skaters in all of the figure skating disciplines; beginners, juniors, seniors and adults. Our home ice is at Sertich Ice Center in Memorial Park in Colorado Springs, CO. We also have secondary ice at Monument Ice Rinks in Monument, CO.
Centennial Events
- Centennial SC sponsors the Colorado Springs Invitational, a US Figure Skating sanctioned non-qualifying competition held each year in September.
- We hold at least 11 test sessions per year – Centennial members test at a reduced rate
- Annual awards banquet held each summer.
- Fun trips and events (such as Water Wars and Laser Tag)
- Club Skate Events – members skate for free!
- Priority casting in Centennial 7K Skating Club’s recitals and shows. (Spring Fling, Winter Recital, Nutcracker on Ice)
Other Advantages of Club Membership
- All skating members receive a free Centennial sweatshirt.
- Members may purchase Centennial Skating Club warm-up jackets and pants at cost.
- Reduced price Basic Skills Memberships available for Basic Skills skaters.
- Annual membership in US Figure Skating Assoc. (USFSA), including SKATING magazine, is provided at no additional expense.
- Opportunities for training and competition financial support to pay for skating-related expenses (for all members in good standing) are available to skaters, coaches and judges!
- A Board of Directors happy to help you with questions and guidance in the complicated world of figure skating.
- Officer signatures and permission forms provided quickly for competition and test applications.
- Trial judging opportunities and mentoring available for judges and prospective judges.
